A little idea for play
Place a face-up card in the middle and give each player a card. Look for the animal that appears on both. The first player to name the match collects the middle card and uses it for the next round. Keep going until the central pile is finished.

Can we play a slower version?
Yes. Remove the race and take turns finding a match. You can also name the animals together before starting.
Is there another way to play?
Deal the cards between players and place one in the centre. Match your top card to the central card and add it to the centre; the aim is to clear your own pile first.
